The Boones Ferry Boating Club Membership Agreement
2007 SHORT TERM MOORAGE

The Boones Ferry Boating Club is a private boating club operated by The BoatWorks, Ltd.  This Short Term Moorage contract entitles tenants to moor the specified boat in one short term moorage space at The BoatWorks, Ltd’s moorage facilities on the Upper Willamette River at Boones Ferry Landing or The Charbonneau Country Club marina. In submitting this agreement I agree that I have read and understand the terms herein. I understand that I can print a copy of the terms from this web site at any time.

Short Term Moorage Terms

Slip assignment: Slip assignment may not be transferred during the short-term agreement period. Tenant agrees to moor only the boat registered as indicated on this agreement   the tenant will provide their own lines and fenders using only the cleats at the slip assigned.  No cleats or hardware can be added to the dock.

Parking: This agreement does not include trailer or vehicle parking provisions. Tenant may use public parking facilities nearby.


Fueling: The Club provides fueling services at the Fuel Dock.  Tenant  can schedule fuel service during off hours at the Fuel Dock by contacting Fuel Dock personnel on the # posted at the Fuel Dock and the web site.  Every effort will be made to accommodate those requests. Tenants bringing their own fuel to the moorage may do so only on the ramp side of  the Fuel Dock.  Fuel containers are not permitted in the general moorage area.

Liability: The BoatWorks Ltd. provides the assigned moorage in its present condition and tenant agree to accept the assigned moorage in its present condition, as is, and agree that The BoatWorks, Ltd. shall not be responsible for any loss or damage of any kind or description to the property of the tenant.  Member agrees to indemnify and save harmless The BoatWorks, Ltd from and against loss, damage, liability, cost and expenses which Tenant may sustain or bear to which it may be put, resulting in any manner from the occupancy of said premises by the Tenant or the Tenants invitees regardless of any negligence of The BoatWorks, Ltd.

Termination: The BoatWorks Ltd has the right to and Tenant agrees that this agreement may be terminated because of disruptive behavior or violation of the terms of this agreement and that no refund of any unused segment of the fees will be paid.  In case it is necessary to institute a suit or action to enforce compliance with any terms of this agreement,  Tenant agrees to pay and discharge all The BoatWorks, LTD’s costs and expenses, including attorney fess that arise from enforcing any provision or covenants of this agreement even if no suit is instated.

Late Fees: It is understood that short-term moorage check out is 11:00 a..m.  Any boat left anywhere inside the moorage after it’s agreed check out time is liables for a $10/hour late fee.  Boats left without notifying Leslie at 503-781-8544 may be moved to the public access dock, to accommodate the next tenant.
